Hi there.
I'm Camp Wyman.
I know- I've been around a while, but I'm not great at formal introductions. I'm more of a "come as you are, pull up a bench by the fire" kind of place.
If we're just meeting, here's a little about me.
You’ll find me tucked into the rolling hills of Wildwood, Missouri- quiet, a little wild, and full of stories. I’ve been here for a long time (since 1898, if we’re counting), welcoming generations of people who needed a little fresher air, connection, and space to breathe.
Over the years, I’ve changed some and grown up a bit- but at my core, I’m still the same: a place where people come to feel something real.
I’m not just a camp. I’m a place where:
I was built on a simple idea: that time in nature, shared with others, can change you- in the very best way.
These days, I get to host all kinds of experiences- teens finding their voice, groups building stronger connections, and individuals taking a step back from the noise of everyday life.
If you spend a little time with me, you’ll probably notice a few things:
Around here, growth doesn’t come from checking off activities. It comes from shared experiences, honest conversations, and moments that stick with you longer than you expect.
That’s where the magic happens.
I’m more of a build-your-own-adventure kind of place.
Every group that comes here is different- and that’s exactly how I like it. Whether you’re here to strengthen connections, spark new ideas, or just take a breath away from the everyday, your experience is shaped around you.
No cookie-cutter schedules. No one-size-fits-all approach. Just the space, support, and flexibility to create something meaningful together.
At the heart of it all, I’m part of something bigger.
I exist to help young people- and honestly, people of all ages- discover their strengths, build connections, and imagine what’s possible for their future.
It’s not flashy work. But it’s meaningful. And it sticks with people long after they leave.
I’m Camp Wyman.
A little rustic. A little inspiring.
A lot about people.
If you ever want to visit, I’ll be here- ready when you are.
